this is really old. the file date reads february 20th, 2004.
anyway, this was done for a really fun activity over at the conceptart.org forums called the daily sketch group (dsg for short). every day, a topic was given (such as: character - space bounty hunter; landscape - valley of eternal youth or creature - kappa) with a short description what the topic was about, and participants were to produce a piece of work that was done in under 45 minutes. the objective was to train creativity-on-demand.
the topic for this one was "creature - temple guardian" and the piece was done in whatever version of painter was up to date back in 04.
