this is one of the three pieces i did specifically for a tiny art show last sunday, at a festival in the village where i live.

its also my personal favorite of the three.

sepia ink on paper, pen and lots of hatching. (6 hours -.-) solomon kane is a character by robert e. howard, who also wrote conan and kull. so, i thought it fitting to go for an old-fashioned book illustration look.

i have a bit of preliminary material that i could post if theres interest, too. :)

edit: i just noticed that the image looks super crappy when dA does its autoresizing thing. downloading full size should free you of that moronic scripty baggage. sorry :(

its only been 6 hours, and it makes a kinda trance-y feeling in the head. i actually "woke up" after ~5 hours, noticing that i cant continue like this. my hands were shaking from being hungry so much that i couldnt possibly continue hatching. they didnt shake until i noticed the hunger, too.

thanks for commenting so diligently, btw. hows everything going? you arent around much, these days. :<

Aw, no need to thank me. I feel bad for not commenting more thoroughly because I have a loada good stuff to say about your work but I'm just not around on the internet long enough. Uni has started again so I have to limit my distractions quit severely if I'm going to kick the ass outta this year. I'll keep in touch as much as I can though(:
